Died at 1 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2001, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 74 and a native and resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home chapel, 825 Government St., from 9 a.m. Friday until religious services at 11 a.m. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Larry Cooper, Baton Rouge; five sisters, May Law, Denham Springs, Mary Stanley, Walker, Kathryn McLin, LaPlace, Margaret Carter, Denham Springs, and Diane Gonzales, LaPlace; three brothers, T.L. "Smoky" Lange Jr., Baton Rouge, Louis Lange, Denham Springs, and Robert Lange, Pride; three granddaughters, Connie Butler and Carol Cooper, both of Baton Rouge, and Theresa Odom, Jonesboro; a grandson, Thomas Olsen III, St. Francisville; and two great-grandchildren, April Butler, Baton Rouge, and Cody Forbes, Denham Springs. Preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel A. "Red" Mason Jr.; a daughter, Elizabeth "PeeWee" Olsen; and parents, Theodore L. and May Judd Lange. Pallbearers will be Robert Lange, Thomas Olsen II, Thomas Olsen III, Cody Odom, T.L. "Smoky" Lange Jr. and Carl Butler. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Denham Springs.
