Edgar T Boord, died at the Wade Park VA Hospital after a short illness. Born in Brownsville, Pa., he had lived in Amherst since 1986.
Mr. Boord worked as a welder on Lake Vessels, and served in the US Ar Force during the Korean War. He was a member of both the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Was Posts in Amherst.
