Frank was the son of Ezekiel Husted and Ardell E. (Emery) Bushnell. He came to Ft. Collins at age 17, joining his parents who had moved there 2 years before. He had been a farmer until 1911, when he moved to town and went to work for a sugar factory. He worked for the railroad and then for 26 years had his own transfer company. He worked there until he was 75 years old. He married Mary Ann Lowe on April 11, 1904 in Ft. Collins and they were the parents of 4 children. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 1964.
