Born in Clinton County on Oct.
5, 1897, she was the daughter of
Martin and Martha (Milner) Jones.
She was married Feb. 23, 1924, to I.
Dale Watson, who preceded her in
death on July 6, 1957.
A retired schoolteacher, she
taught at Middlefork, Riley School
in Kokomo and at Western School
Corp. A resident of the Russiaville
area for over 50 years, she was a
charter member of the American
Legion Auxiliary, Indiana State
Teachers Association and New London
Friends Church.
Surviving with the sister is a son,
Stephen Watson, Russiaville, and a
nephew raised in her home, Charles
Draper of Burlington. A brother
and two sisters preceded her in
death.
Services were held Saturday at
Stout and Son Funeral Home with
Revs. Jim Taylor and Greg Reed
officiating.
Burial was held in New
London Cemetery.
