Andrew Jospeh Flores "Jo Jo", a lifelong resident of Merced, CA was born to Pearl Lomeli and Andrew Flores Jr. on December 5, 1993 and left us on May 13, 2012 at the tender age of 19.
Andrew who was independent supported himself while attending high school by working at Sizzler. He was always ambitious and was scheduled to graduate from Merced High School on June 1st. He loved music, art, smiling, making people smile, and had many friends whom he cherished. Jo Jo's too early departure may be considered a tragedy now but he will always remain in our hearts until we reunite with him in eternal paradise.
He is survived by his parents; his grandparents, Sylvia and Alfonso Garcia and Sarah Lomeli; 7 sisters and 1 brother, Lillian Mallory, Anthony Mallory, Teresa Mallory, Lydia Flores, Alejandra Flores, Carolina Flores, Isela Flores, and Eva Flores; his tías, Melina Bond, Odessa Stanford, and Eric Barton; his uncles, James Bond and Ralph Stanford; and cousins, James Bond Jr., Mya Bond, Emma Flores, Hannah Stanford, and Rye Stanford.
Visitation will be at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B St., Merced, CA on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Services will be on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 10:00am at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at 11:00am at Merced District Cemetery.
