Betty J. Quatse, 81, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, in Excela Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Aug. 8, 1923, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Guy and Mary Borrelli Quatse. She was a self-employed beautician. She was a member of the Church of St. Paul and the Columbia Ladies Lodge. She was a bookkeeper for the former Goldberg Provision. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Dr. Jesse, Frank, Charles and Guy Quatse Jr.; and five sisters, Edith M. Quatse, Sarah Gergely, Edith Quatse, Laura Bassegio, and an infant. She is survived by her sister, Emily Quatse Just, of Greensburg; 17 nieces and nephews; 47 great-nieces and great-nephews; 50 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; a great-great-great-niece; a great-great-great-nephew; a brother-in-law, Fred Bassegio; and a sister-in-law, Olive Quatse, both of Greensburg.
