Bonnie was born in 1941 in Muscatine to William C. and Dorothy Peters. She had been employed at the Handicapped Development Center work program for many years.
She participated in the Iowa Special Olympics and was an active bowler, placing first in the state tournament.
She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Walker, Stuart; her cousins, Martha Jobst, Earham, Iowa, and Joann Davis, Cedar Rapids, and their families; other cousins also survive.
Her stepfather, Samuel Walker, and grandparents preceded her in death.
