Greensboro – Millie Pegram Moore, age 81 died Monday, February 17, 2014 at Wesley Long Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Christ Wesleyan Church. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
Mrs. Moore was born July 13, 1932 in Greensboro to the late Charlie Pegram and Swanna Allred Pegram.
Mrs. Moore was the owner and operator of Eastside Grocery. Mrs. Moore was also a member of Christ Wesleyan Church.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Lee Varrick Moore, and brothers James, Bernard Paul and Marshal Pegram.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her son Rick Moore and wife Robin of High Point, and daughter Linda Stanton and husband James of Whitsett, NC. Two sisters Helen Birchall of Franklinville, NC and Patricia Greenway of Greensboro. Grandchildren Marissa Colt, Kaitlyn and Cameron Moore and Jase Stanton.
