Mark Tucker, 45, passed away on Oct. 25, 2013, in San Angelo. Family visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Robert Massie Funeral Home with David Currie of Southland Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mark was born in San Angelo to Larry Tucker and Sammye Gonzales on Sept. 28, 1968. He went to school in San Angelo. He founded West Texas Building Contractors in 1993, and continued as owner/operator until his passing. His intelligence, wit and charm will always be remembered. He had a great sense of humor and could find humor in any situation. He was the light of life to his family and will be greatly missed by everyone he knew.

Mark is preceded in death by his grandparents, C.W. "Red" and Dorthy Balkum, Margaret and Don Smith and Louis Tucker. Mark is survived by five children, daughter Lara Tucker of San Angelo; son Christopher Tucker of Trent, Texas; daughter Samantha Tucker of San Angelo; daughter Brittney Reynolds of San Angelo; son Charles Reynolds of San Angelo; one granddaughter, Keelie Johnson; parents Sammye Gonzales of San Angelo and Larry Tucker of Rowlett, Texas; one brother, Jeff Tucker and his wife, Francine; two nieces, Shealyn and Juliene of Austin, Texas; and his fiancee, Mary Howle and her children, James, Dana and Sam. The family wants to extend a special thank you to Dr. Durham, Dr. Crenshaw, nurses and staff at San Angelo Community Hospital and to the Texas Organ Sharing Alliance for the help and support in carrying out Mark's wishes.
