JAMES R. ISAAC, age 77, died Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus. Born in Harrison County, May 5, 1936, to the late Abe and Lillian Ewalt Isaac, he was a self-employed roofer, a sheet metal specialist and a proud member and past exalted ruler of the Cynthiana Elk's Lodge #438. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Wiglesworth Isaac.

He is survived by three sons, Al (Patsy) Isaac, Lexington; Russell (Susan Wilson) Isaac, Cynthiana and Billy (Laura) Isaac, Lexington; a brother, Kenny (Kitty) Isaac, Cynthiana; four sisters, Ann Wells, Cynthiana, Ruth (Eddie) Roberts, Elberton, Georgia, Shirley (Jack) Massey, Columbus, Ohio and Mary Lynn Richie, Cynthiana; four grandchildren, Alison Isaac, Jessica Isaac, Betsy Montgomery and Aidan Isaac and a great grandson, Forrest Montgomery.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Ware Funeral Home by Terry Reffett Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday with an Elk's service at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1317 U.S. Highway 62 East, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.

Pallbearers will be Jason Rogers, Buck Rogers, Kenny Joe Isaac, Mark Massey, Eddie Roberts, Ronnie Neal, Randy Neal, Mike Wachter, Dean O'Brien, Ray Stanfield and Darrell O'Brien.
