Lewis Elmer Blystone, 100, South Bend Township, died yesterday (April 3, 1984) at 2:15 a.m. in the Wesley Manor Home, RD 1, Kittanning.
He was born May 1, 1883, in Girty, South Bend Township, to George and Delilah McCormick Blystone.
Mr. Blystone was a retired farmer and coal miner.
He was a member of Mount Zion Methodist Church, South Bend Township.
His survivors include two sons, Veryl of Clearmont, Fla., and Wayne of South Bend Township; two daughters, Marie Eiloo of Clearmont, Fla., and Imogene Evans of Partland, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. His wife, Belle Smith Blystone, died in 1970.
He also was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.
Friends will be received in the Clarence P. Clark Funeral Home, Elderton, today form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a service will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. by the Rev. David Eichelberger and the Rev. Von D. Taylor. Burial will be in the Elderton Cemetery, Elderton.
