Judy Watts, 68, of West Valley City, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, October 23, 2013.

Judy was born March 7, 1945 in Delta, Utah to Leon McCall and Lenore Hansen.

She married Duane Watts on February 15, 1963.

She worked many years at Delton Lanes and Utah Youth Corrections. She was the most generous, loving, intelligent, tolerant, wise, caring, and beautiful wife, mom, sister, aunt, and grandma that any of us could have wished for.

She touched many lives and made us all better people. She loved her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, her church, special-needs kids, fishing, football, the Seattle Seahawks, otters, Wile E Coyote, the color turquoise, and reading.

She crocheted over 400 Afghans that keep many of us warm today; we'll always think of her when we pull one over us. Judy was also a very successful unofficial Scout Master, continually driving her three boys and many other young boys to become Eagle Scouts.

Judy is survived by her husband, three sons, Wayne (Debbie), West Valley City; Gary (Dawn), St. George; and Wade (Traci), West Jordan; eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sisters, Anita (Art) Hill, Kathryn (Fred) Winterton, and Pam (Dennis) Alexander; and brother, Ralph (Susan) McCall. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and a great-grandson.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Jordan North Sixth Ward Chapel, 3875 West 4100 South, West Valley City. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Interment services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2013 in the Delta City Cemetery, Delta.
