Marilyn Amy Rahmlow, age 71, of Michigan City, Ind., died Dec. 30, 2005 at 8:26 am in Porter Regency Hospital, Portage, Ind. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm Monday, Jan. 2, 2006 at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran church, 1227 N. St. Rd. 39, LaPorte, Ind., with the Pastor Matthew Kiecker officiating. Cremation will follow services. Visitation will be form 10 am until the time of service on Monday at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel handled arrangements.
Mrs. Rahmlow was born Dec. 28, 1934 in Suring to Clarence and Gardina (Raatz) Hanson. On Feb. 15, 1958 in Suring, she married Lloyd Rahmlow, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters: Linda (David) Taylor, Michigan City, Ind., and Lori (Steve) Rhoads, Ruttledge, Ga.; three sons: Wayne Rahmlow, Michigan City, Ind.; Kevin (Joy) Rahmlow, Michigan City, Ind., and Gary (Wilma) Rahmlow, Lees Creek, Ohio; two sisters, twin sister, Marion Peterson, Denmark and Carol DeNoble, San Antonio, Texas; three granddaughters, Ashlee Rhoads, Taylor Rhoads and Haly Rahmlow; six grandsons, Matthew Rahmlow, Nathan Rahmlow, Travis Rahmlow, Joshua Taylor, Brad Taylor and Dylan Taylor. She was preceded in death by a son, Allen Rahmlow.
