SHERMAN - Mr. Bradley Coleman, 87, of Sherman, passed away at his home Thursday, October 24, 2013. The family will receive friends from 6 -7 p.m. Sunday, October 27, at Dannel Funeral Home. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Luella Cemetery, with Rev. Roy Webster officiating.

Mr. Coleman was born March 10, 1926 in Pikeville, Ky., to Lanny and Lauri Thacker Coleman. As a young man, he proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps. On July 1, 1967, Mr. Coleman married Mary Pickle in Sherman. They made their home together and raised their family in Sherman. Mr. Coleman worked in manufacturing at Magni-Fab, and also in the grocery business, retiring from Kroger in 1991.

Surviving Mr. Coleman are his wife, Mary; one so,n Bradley Dale Coleman; one daughter, Lily Jane Gardner and her husband William; two grandchildren, Joshua Meyette and Patrick Daniel Gardner; step-grandchildren, Kenneth Gardner, Jennifer Gardner and Timmy Gardner.

Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his parents, eight siblings and one grandson, Daniel James Meyette.

All arrangements are under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home.
