Caroline and Edward Knizley were married on October 17, 1940 in Raton, New Mexico. She had been a resident of Grand Junction from 1953. Caroline had been a clerk in the Mesa County Assessor's Office for a number of years, retiring in 1987. Caroline enjoyed sewing, gardening and her family. She was innovative and constructive. Caroline had suffered the Colorado River flood which overcame her farm at 2763 ½ B. Road at which time she found it worthwhile to do her own work. She rebuilt there and resided there for a time before moving to a smaller home at 197 ½ Glory View in Grand Junction, Colorado. She is survived by her two children Larry and Cindy of Grand Junction and seven grandchildren.
