John Lee Belair, 31, Bemidji, died Nov. 14, 1992, at North Country Regional Hospital. Funeral services were at Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home in Bemidji. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Bemidji.

Mr. Belair was born May 31, 1961 in Bemidji to Lawrence and Audrey Belair. He attended school here. He loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

He is survived by a son, Nicholas Belair of Joplin, MO; one daughter, Jessica Neise of Bemidji; his mother and step-father, Audrey and Derry Marsh of Bemidji; two brothers, Jeff and Jim Belair of Bemidji; one step-sister, Jessica Marsh of Bemidji; and his father, Lawrence Belair.

A Bemidji man was killed in a two-car accident Saturday night just west of Bemidji, according to the State Patrol in Thief River Falls. John Lee Belair, 31, was killed about 10:00 p.m. as he was driving out of Elpine Village in a 1982 Mercury, which collided with a 1983 Oldsmobile. (Bemidji Pioneer Nov. 16, 1992)
