The sudden and unexpected death of Clarence Fulwider at University Place last Saturday was a shock to his friends in Cowles, having left home two weeks before in the best of health to begin the year's work at the Wesleyan University.
His sudden illness and death was due to appen¬dicitis. The body was brought home and short services held at Blue Hill, where he graduated from school last year. The remains were then brought to Elm Creek where services were held by his pastor, Rev. Rippetoe, and interment made in the cemetery at this place. The sympathy of a large circle of friends is with the stricken parents.
