Died, in Knuckles Co. Neb. Sept. 29, 1896, of old age, Thomas Patterson Brown. He was born in Washington co. Pa. Feb. 7th 1812 to Simeon and Elizabeth Patterson Brown. When he was 11 or 12 years of age the family moved to Licking county, Ohio. There on Nov. 5th, 1831 he married Deborah Huston. In 1854, he with his wife and nine children moved to Wheatland, Bureau county Illinois. In the spring of 1872 he and Deborah moved to Nebraska where Deborah died in 1873. He married Mrs. Mary King in 1886 and they moved to a farm in Knuckles county where he died Sept. 29, 1896.
