Born June 1, 1926, in Saginaw, Mich., to Robert and Lulu Charleton Antle, he married Joyce E. Anno on April 26, 1953, in Havana. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Robert (and Lynn) of Cedar Park, Texas; one daughter, Betsy (and Ken) Buck of State Center, Iowa; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Richard of Gladwin, Mich., and Robert of Bend, Ore.
He was a World War II Navy veteran, serving as radioman third class in the Pacific Theater.
He was a member of First Federated Church in Peoria, where services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Henry Hein will officiate. Cremation will be accorded. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in the church columbarium. Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois is in charge of arrangements.
