Gregory Dean "Bert" Strickland was the son of Arthur James Strickland and Gertrude L. (Webb) Strickland. Both parents preceded him in death. He attended Paseo High School. He worked as a cook in various local restaurants and also worked for Unitog. He accepted Christ at an early age and attended Prince of Peace Baptist Church. He is survived by five daughters, two stepdaughters, three brothers, four sisters, three grandchildren, three step grandchildren, one uncle and two aunts. Funeral services were held on August 20 at the Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Joseph R. Clark, officiating.
