Ruby Elizabeth German was born to Ruby Esther Morrical and Anton German in Hugo, Colorado. She married Galen Wolgamott and gave birth to Elizabeth Gayle Wolgamott. She was known to family and friends as "Betty". Later in life she married John McClendon. Betty was a talented artist and loved painting New Mexico landscapes and people of the southwest. She had an older brother who died as an infant. Betty grew up with two-half sisters and and three-half brothers: Dortha June Wilson ("Dot"), Joan Wilson, Joseph Paul Wilson, Jack Winston Wilson, and Bruce Wilson. She had two grand children: Angela Spitsen and Lara Suzanne Spitsen. She is buried in Pleasant Plains in Limon County, Colorado. Her father, Anton German, was given the burial plots by Charles Anderson Morrical.
