Sharon Kaye Sherman, 67, of Taylorville died at 9:28 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2010, in Taylorville Memorial Hospital.
She was born November 5, 1942, in Taylorville, the daughter of Floyd and Marcella Allen Davis. She married Glenn Sherman on April 16, 1962 in Springfield, IL.
Surviving are her husband, Glenn of Taylorville; mother, Marcella Davis of Kincaid; sons: Glenn Sherman Jr. and wife Tamie Kaye of Taylorville, Frank Sherman and wife Wendy of Decatur, and Vince Sherman and wife Vickie of Canton; daughters: Toni Sherman and Twyla Sherman, both of Taylorville; 28 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers: Bill Davis and wife Shirley of Kincaid and Fuzzy Davis and wife Janet of Palmer; and sisters: Peggy Crabbe of Rockford and Becky Davis of St. Joseph, MO. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Shirley Robinette.
Private family services will be held at a later date. McClure Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
