LANCASTER: Emma L. James of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Crestview Manor Nursing Center.
She was retired from Maple Street United Methodist Church as a care taker with over 30 years of service. She was also a member of Maple Street United Methodist Church.
Emma is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Vikki James of Baltimore, Ohio; grandson, Jeremy B. James of Minneapolis, Minnesota; great-grandcson, Tevin James; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence James; parents, Jason and Mary Thompson; three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral service will be held Friday, November 1, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 NORTH COLUMBUS STREET, LANCASTER, OHIO 43130.
Burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Friday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.
