A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated today at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow for Romela P. Anselmi, 77, a native of Cut Off and resident of Galliano who died Friday.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
She was the sister of Annie P. Bergeron.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Anselmi; parents, Laura Toups and Voltaire Pitre; brothers, Dumas, Emanuel and Sidney Pitre; sisters, Zoe Pitre, Ozumia Williams and Dumacia Dantin.
Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano was in charge of arrangements.
