GOLDSBORO - Sandra Kay Smith Heath, 69, of Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Carey and Mary L. Craft Smith; and her husband, Willie Gray Heath Sr. Her Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2011, from the chapel of Garner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home of Bobby and Nancy Davis, 3147 Davis Hardy Road, Kinston. A private burial will be held at a later date at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Survivors include her sons, Willie Gray Heath Jr. and Lynda of Wilson, Jamie Heath and wife Mia, of Moss Hill, David Lee Heath and wife Jody, of Deep Run, and William Ray Heath of La Grange; her brothers, William Carey Smith Jr. and wife Mary Ann, of McCalla, Ala., Stanley L. Smith and wife Kathy, of Fairview; two grandchildren, Allyson Nicole Heath and Cameron Gray Heath, and two step-grandchildren, Rebecca and Stephanie; and a very special friend, Bobby Grady of Deep Run.
