Thomas Pauley Jr.
Thomas Pauley Jr., 86, of Sod, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at home.
He was a retired coal miner with 34 years of service at Westmoreland Coal Co.; he was a member of the UMWA and Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Jr. was preceded in death by his stepson, David Dunlap.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Shirley; daughter, Regina Adams; stepsons, Frederick Dunlap and James (Gladys) Banks; stepdaughter, Reva (Mark) Gray; sister, Nina Faye Dunlap; brother, Ray (Faye) Pauley; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, October 27, at Curry Funeral Home, 2097 Childress Road, Alum Creek, with Pastor Butch Brogan officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made toward funeral services.
