NEWTON - Donna I. Newton, age 75, of Pierson, died Monday, July 20, 2009 at her home. Donna was born July 15, 1934 in Nelson Township, MI the daughter of Lee and Leone (Bremmer) Parker. Surviving are her husband, David; three children, Wayne (Sally) Newton of Sand Lake, Kim (Kathy) Newton of Pierson, Garry Newton (Karen Bennett) of Howard City; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Max and Ken Parker; five sisters, Esther Heiss, Wanda (Bill) Morris, Doris (Rusty) Martin, Edith (Dale) Johnson, Lois (Curt) Phillips; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Dennis Lee; two brothers, Wyman and Ronald Parker; and her parents. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, www.blisswitterspike.com where services will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. Pastor Herb VanderBilt officiating.
