Janice Higgins, age 69, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in her home. She was born March 15, 1944 in Pueblo, CO to William and Fern (Klephfeld) Holland. Mrs. Higgins was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, American Legion Axillary and the VFW. She was an avid oil painter and artist. Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life and she was always helping anyone in need. She was preceded in death by her parents; uncle, Monsigner Holland; granddaughter, Rayna Louise Elmenhorst; and father-in-law Euil Higgins. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Ronald Higgins of the home; son, Russell Higgins of El Reno; daughters, Rhonda Elmenhorst and husband Randy of El Reno and Renee Higgins and partner Valerie Beck of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Heather Haglund and husband A.J. of Yukon, Blake Elmenhorst of El Reno, and Kolton Parchman of Wichita Falls, TX; great grandchild, Brecken Haglund of Yukon; brothers, William and Gregory Holland both of Taft, CA; and sisters, Joyce Moseman of Taft, CA and Judith Holland of Pueblo, CO. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 14, 2013, in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in El Reno Cemetery.
