A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, in First Presbyterian Church in Newberg for G. Stewart Low, who died Sept. 14 at age 88.

Gordon Stewart Low was born Dec. 25, 1918, in Elbow, Saskatchewan. He graduated from Radio College of Canada in Toronto. He moved to a walnut and filbert farm in Sherwood in 1961 and to Newberg in 1967. He was an accountant, most recently for Interstate Heavy Hauling. He was a member of the church and most recently lived in Vancouver. In 1952, he married Cornelia Williams; she died in 2004.

Survivors include his sons, Stewart and Ray; sisters, Leila Winkler and Margaret Lungren; brothers, Bill, Maurice, Norman and Don; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
