Cecil Joseph Adams Sr.,89, of Brainerd died on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Carefree Living in Brainerd. Services for Cecil will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Luncheon will follow at the Brenny Funeral Chapel Reception Room. Interment is at Bay Lake Cemetery.

Cecil was born on March 28, 1922 in Woodstock, MN to William and Florence (Albright) Adams. He married Pearl on April 12, 1947 in St. Paul, MN. Cecil worked as an electrician for NSP for 36 years. He was a member of local union #160 Electrical. Cecil was a life long member of Garrison VFW Post 1816. He loved fishing more than anything.

Cecil will be sadly missed by his children, Cathy (Denny) Twistol and Cheryl(Kevin) Cook; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Nora Smith, Delores Adams, and Ione Hoffman. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Pearl; son, Cecil Jr; and two brothers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
