Brown, James, W., of High Ridge, Missouri, was born July 25, 1928, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Charles S. and Grace A. (nee Boggs) Brown, and entered into rest, Thursday, October 24, 2013, at his residence in High Ridge, Missouri, at the age of 85 years, 2 months and 29 days.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Grace (nee Boggs) Brown, two (2) siblings, Chuck Brown and Joan Wood.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine N. (nee Mathews) Brown, married June 5, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri, five (5) children, Stephen J. (Connie) Brown, of Vichy, Missouri, Craig A. Brown, of High Ridge, Missouri, Mark C. (Cathy) Brown, of Grubville, Missouri, Rebecca L. Matson, of House Springs, Missouri and Melinda J. (Thomas) Inman, of House Springs, Missouri, fourteen (14) grandchildren, eleven (11) great grandchildren, one (1) sibling, Shirley Kercher, of Farmington, Missouri, and many other relatives and friends.
James enjoyed being outdoors especially deer hunting, he also liked antiques. He was a very hard worker and he built his own home. James was a veteran of the United States Navy. He is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
