A funeral will be held Monday, October 28, 2013 for 94-year-old Agnes G. Bohnert of Perryville who died October 24, 2013 at the Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born October 28, 1918 at Perry County, the daughter of George Mattingly and Stella Gibbar Mattingly, who both preceded her in death.
She married Delbert Bohnert on Oct. 21, 1941. He survives in Perryville.
She is also survived by two sons: Donald Bohnert of St. Louis and Ken Bohnert of Perryville; two daughters: Carol Schindler of Perryville and Leila Hayden of Perryville
One Sister: Jean Hunt of Perryville; 14 grandchidren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She was also preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
She was a member of the D of I, the V.F.W. Auxiliary, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, October 27 and 6:30-9:50 a.m. Monday, October 28 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
A funeral mass for 94-year-old Agnes G. Bohnert of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Milton Ryan, CM will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
