While living alone, she loved working in her flower garden and always loved spending time with the family especially, with myself, my sister Jenny and my cousin Fred Kidd as we were the great grandkids that visited the most often. It was important to her that the grandchildren and great grandchildren know our family history. She had the Kidd family Bible from 1850 that was passed on to my grandfather Ernest M. Kidd on her death.
Due to health issues she later lived in assisted living until her death. Her pall bearers were two great grandsons (myself and my cousin Fred Kidd), three grandsons (my father H.C. Kidd, Fred D. and Ernie Kidd) and long time family friend Malcolm Greene.
