George "Butch" Karatzou Jr., 50, of Greenwood, Arkansas died Sunday, January 18, 2004, in his home. He was a county coordinator for the Literacy Council of Western Arkansas and a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church.
Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood United Methodist Church. Cremation to follow under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
He is survived by his mother, three sisters, and a brother.
