Paul Bernard "Bernie" Albers, 80, of Greenwood, passed away on October 23, 2013 at his home. He was born on August 20, 1933 in Indianapolis, IN a son of Heinrich Gregor and Elizabeth Margaret Albers.
Bernie Albers was a loving husband and a proud father of 6 children, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Hermann G. Albers, Memorial #104917478.
He enjoyed life to the fullest, loved the outdoors, camping was a favorite family outing. He was very proud of his German heritage, his father came to America from Germany in 1927.
Bernie was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus and member of Our Lady of the Greenwood. Bernie was the owner of Reprographic Services in Indianapolis.
