Deborah Ann Peters, age 61, of LaPorte, IN passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013 at IU Health LaPorte Hospital in LaPorte, IN.

Deborah was born on August 26, 1952 in Michigan City, IN the daughter of Edward and LaVern (Osos) Peters. Her mother has preceded her in death as well as her brother: Edward L. Peters, Jr.

Deborah is survived by her father: Edward L. Peters, Sr. as well as her sister: Suzanne Parizek of LaPorte, IN.

Deborah loved music and was very sociable. She was involved in Special Olympics. Deborah was a very loving person, she loved everyone, especially her family and her sister Suzanne.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a Wake Service to be held at 4:00 PM at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home located at 613 Washington St. Michigan City, IN and on Monday, October 28, 2013 beginning at 8:30 AM. Funeral Prayers will be said at 9:15 am at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, October 28, 2013 10:00 AM at Queen of all Saints Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave. Michigan City, IN with Father Kevin Huber officiating.

Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, IN.
