Gary Samuel Bolton , age 50, passed away peacefully at his daughter's residence on Saturday, October 5, 2013.
Gary was born on December 5, 1962 in Luling, Tx to Douglas and Rose Bolton. He was a hard worker, having worked in the oilfield industry since his early teenage years. it was a trade he loved, following in the foot-steps of his father.
He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his father-Douglas Bolton , uncle Frank Sanchez, aunt Ophelia Sanchez, and his material and paternal grandparents.
Gary is survived by his daughter-Joanna Rose Harless and husband Ryan and grandchildren-Bailey, Jake, and Rye of Alvin, his mother Rose Bolton, two brothers Frank and James Bolton, all of Luling, four nieces-Christine Nicole Zumwalt and husband Jason and children Aliza, Kyra, Dayton, And Kiara., Valerie Rose Milson with husband Tommy and son ,Marcus, Amber Denise Bolton ,and Taryn Brooke Bolton and nephew Jared Benjamin Bolton.
Funeral services were held at 10 AM on Wednesday, October 9, at O'Bannon Funeral Chapel, with Deacon Wilfred Hargrave officiating. Interment followed at Luling Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charlie Krueger, Eugene Enriquez, FOXX Deleon, Ray Harless, Ray Orr, and Danny Trowbridge. Honorary pallbearers were Frank Bolton and James Bolton.
