Mrs. John C. Hill of Jefferson township died last Sunday after quite a protracted illness, in her 63rd year. Her maiden name was Cowan and she was married to Mr. Hill in October 1865. She was the oldest of a family of 9 children, 5 of whom are yet living. Besides the husband, she leaves 2 daughters. The funeral occurred Tuesday with interment at the Cox cemetery.
