Ephraim Brink, s/o Thomas Brink 1752 and Mary Marsh. Occupation Farmer. Married (1st) 10 Aug 1820 at Pike, Bradford Co. Pa. Laura Coggshall born 22 Jan 1796 in Conn., died 7 Nov 1835 aged 39 yrs.

Married about 1836 in Bradford Co. (2nd) Sarah Jannet Clark, born 20 Jan 1808 in Conn., died 2 Sept 1869 at Massillon Tp., Cedar Co., Iowa. Ephraim's family emigrated to Massillon, Cedar Co. Iowa in 1854, settling on a farm five miles northeast of Clarence.

Ephraim and Laura's children: James Sterling 1821, Rosana 1822, Elvira Temperance 1823, Elijah Austin 1825, Eliza Marie 1827, Phila Ann 1829, Clarrissa Perlina 1831, Sterling 1832, Cyprian Grant 1835.

Ephraim & Sarah's children: Elizabeth Malvina 1837, Simeon 1840, Ezekiel Mintz 1841, Ephraim (2nd) 1842, Lucy Jane 1844, Wealthy Ann 1850.

He had very little, but various people battled for and filed suits, including one by others that was a forgery! In the end the estate was: one horse and buggy, wearing apparel (an overcoat) and one sleigh or cutter. Copy of will dated 18 Jul 1876 gives to children E.M., Lucy, and Wealthy Ann land which later was proven to be owned by son Simeon; all household furniture to Wealthy Ann and Eliza Mintz. Son Ezekiel M. was named administrator. Later verbal will accepted by court gave wearing apparel to CM, and horse, buggy and sleigh to Lucy Brink.
