Leo Michael Gallivan was my maternal GrandFather. I never got to meet Grandpa on my mother's side as he passed away when my mum was around 14-15 years of age.

Leo Gallivan married Patricia Oakley approx early 1950's because my mother Maryanne Patricia Gallivan was born in 1954.My grand parents seperated but not sure what date at this stage all I know if my mother said when she was small they went their seperate ways, and my mother went to go live with her Aunt and Grandmother as her mother had some issues at the time, and her father would come and visit my mother and take her out and spent quality time together up until he passed away.

Leo and Patricia also had another daughter Leonie Gallivan but she died at birth on January 21, 1955.

Leo Gallivan enlisted in the Australian Army in May 1941.
