COOPER--James McKinnie, 80, of Cooper, died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997, at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Delta Funeral Home Chapel with Mariann Meador and Leroy Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He served in the Army during WWII and was employed by Texas Instruments before moving to Delta County in 1982.
Surviving are his wife, Jessie Lee Cranford McKinnie; a son, Donald James McKinnie; a son, Donald James McKinnie of Carrollton; three brothers, Eugene McKinnie of Canton, Bill McKinnie of Arlington and Wayne McKinnie of Dallas; two sisters, Nell Henderson of Plano and Emma Jean Riza of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
