Kathryn Davidson Warren of Collinsville died peacefully in her home on Thursday, October 24. Born August 13, 1923, in Franklin County, Virginia, she was the daughter of Sylvester Gold Davidson and Elizabeth Kendrick Davidson. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Green. She is survived by two sons, Chip Warren and wife Denise Pratt Warren of Christiansburg and Tim Warren of Rocky Mount; two grandchildren, Caroline Warren Cozart and husband Jonathan Cozart of Christiansburg and Daniel Gillette Warren of Johnson City, Tennessee, and one great-grandson, Andrew David Cozart of Christiansburg. Her husband of sixty years, C. K. Warren, Jr. passed away in July of 2006.

She was born and raised in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Her early work experience included serving as a pharmacist's assistant, but her life's work was being a devoted wife and mother. In her spare time she played piano and organ for various church choirs at Starling Avenue Baptist Church and she enjoyed bridge parties for over thirty years with the same group of ladies, each of whom was a very dear friend.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm, Monday, October 28, at McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville by Dr. David Adkins, Minister of Starling Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville and on Monday morning at the residence.

The family wishes to acknowledge the kind, compassionate and loving care of her caregivers over the last few years including Dr. Ben Lewis, Ethel, Barbara and Louise.
