AN ILLINOIS Marine was killed and nine persons received minor injuries Friday when a Greyhound bus plowed into the back of a tractor-trailer pulling a bulldozer through downtown Kennesaw, Ga. Authorities said Jerry L. Pinkerton. 21, of White Hall.
Ill. was dead on arrival at Kennestone Hospital in nearby Marietta. Hospital officials said Pinkerton was traveling to Camp Pendleton in California.
