Marsha Lynn Allen a devout born again Christian sister was called from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Oct. 16, 2013.
She was born in Mobile, Alabama on Jan. 15, 1950, where she lived her entire life. She attended St. James Major Catholic Elementary School, Trinity Gardens High School and also earned a B.A. degree from the University of Mobile.
She was a faithful and dedicated member of the Mobile County Health Department's Dental Clinic. She served them well for over 21 years and will be sorely missed.
Marsha is preceded in death by her sweet and loving mother, Mrs. Clara "Big Momma" Allen Williams and her loving son, Christopher Augustus Allen.
She is survived by her only brother, Osbien "Ossie" Williams of Mobile, AL; sisters, Marie of Mobile, AL and Elaine Allen of Sacramento, CA; sister-in-law, Otelemaba Arith Williams; a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends.
Her remains will lie in state on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 1pm until 8pm at Small's Mortuary, Mobile. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Apostolic Church of God 10985 Hwy 45, Chunchula, AL. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Cemetery 8951 Old Pascagoula Rd. Theodore, AL. Repast will follow at the church, thank you and May God Bless You All.
