Mary I. Smith, 73, died Jan. 21 in a McMinnville Hosptial. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 27, from the Methodist Church at Macksburg, Iowa. Interment will be at the Moon Cemetery at Macksburg. Arrangements in Iowa are in care of Watts Funeral Home, Lorimor, Iowa. Local arrangements were by Macy & Son.
Mary I. Smith, daughter of Charles E. and Martha E. Logsdon Reynolds, was born May 24, 1896 at Valerine, Iowa. She received her education in Newton, Iowa, moving to Lorimor, Iowa, in 1914, where she lived until coming to McMinnville in 1967 to live with her sister.
She married Jay E. Smith on April 13, 1925 at Greenfield, Iowa. Mr. Smith died in 1967.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her sister, Mrs. Lois Bellwood, McMinnville, and three brothers: Harry Reynolds, Longview, Wash., Joe Reynolds, Lafayette, and Pete Reynolds, Des Moines, Iowa.
