THELMA SHEPARD, 59, of 2382 Cable, employee of the Regional Medical Center at Memphis, died Friday at Methodist Hospital after a long illness. M. J. Edwards & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church on South Parkway. Ms. Shepard leaves a daughter, Anita Pegues of Memphis; four sons, Gregory Pegues of Mansfield, Ohio, and William Pegues, Michael Pegues and Anthony Pegues, all of Memphis; her mother, Jessie Lee Williams of Memphis; a brother, Jessie Morris Pegues of Muncie, Ind., 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
