He retired from Moore's Excavating after 15 years of service, enjoyed playing the guitar, working on cars, babysitting and tinkering.
John was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Judy McNeal, Rose Marohn; sons Jerry Roberts, John Roberts, Jr; sisters Sybil Deere, Georgia Batton, Mabel Roberts and a brother Dorles Roberts.
