J.C. Woodliff, 86, of Booneville was born Nov. 14, 1926, in Kennett, Mo., to Jewel and Julia Woodliff. He passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, in Booneville. J.C. was retired from Ace Comb Plant and attended Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served in the Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. He liked to spend time doing electrical work, fishing and collecting coins. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Estelle Van Allen, Leneal Woodliff, Lucille Hall and Eula Jo Tillery. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home in Booneville. He is survived by his former wife and companion, Marjorie Woodliff; stepdaughters, Glynda York and Sharron Denny; brothers, John Woodliff and George Woodliff; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
