Mr. Casey Morris Payne, age 48, of Toccoa, died Sunday, October 20, 2013.

Born October 14, 1965 in Toccoa, he was a son of the late Herman Morris and Frankie Faye Andrews Payne.

He was of the Christian Faith and was employed with the Rabun County Sheriff's Office. Casey was a loving husband, father, brother, and a great friend.

Family members include his wife, Cindy Weaver Payne; son, Wesley Payne; daughter, Deanna Payne; his brother, Kevin Payne; God daughters, Kayla Tucker, Brandy Allen, and Jamie Smith; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Claude and Wanda Weaver; mother-in-law, Carolyn Cogswell; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be held at two o'clock Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Christ Fellowship Church with Mr. Mike Crozier, Sheriff Frank Andrews, and the Rev. Dan Merck officiating.

A private family inurnment will be at Roselane Cemetery.

Brian Perrin of the Jackson County Sheriff's Department will lead the procession along with the Rabun County Sheriff's Department and many other law enforcements agencies serving as honorary escort.

The family will receive friends at Whitlock Mortuary from 6 pm – 8 pm Thursday, 6 pm – 8 pm Friday, and from 12 noon until 1:30 Saturday.

At other times the family will be at the home of Claude and Wanda Weaver, 502 DeFoor Road, Toccoa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fraternal Order of Police P. O. Box 755 Lavonia, GA 30553.

Whitlock Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
