Former Lapeer Man Dies in Flint
Lapeer-William Irving Clover, 63, of 2207 Torrance St., Flint, for many years a resident of this community and a native of Lapeer County, died early today in St. Joseph Hospital, Flint.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Baird Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Hemingway officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Hope.
Mr. Clover was born Aug. 25, 1888, in Lapeer Co., son of Franklin and Nancy Clover. He married Lottie Ralph. For many years he operated a service station he had built just outside of Lapeer.
He leaves a daughter, Mrs. John Thomas, Flint; a son, Frank Leon Clover, Pontiac, and four grandchildren.
